Sheryl Underwood won the Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show Hosts Daytime Emmy for the first time in 2017 and has served as co-host of the Daytime Emmy Awards show for multiple years, including solo hosting duties for the 2021 Daytime Emmy Awards. She was named one of the 10 most influential talk show hosts on Twitter and currently has over 1 million social media followers. As part of THE TALK hosting team, Underwood received a People’s Choice Award for “Favorite Daytime TV Hosting Team” and an NAACP Image Award for “Outstanding Talk Series.” Underwood is a KJLH (Los Angeles) Proven Achiever honoree and Multi-year Ambassador for the Bayou Classic.; a Membership Ambassador for the NAACP, served as Co-Chair of Taste of Soul in Los Angeles and was Grand Marshal of the 89th annual Hollywood Christmas Parade supporting Marine Toys for Tots.

Sheryl is owner and chief executive officer of Pack Rat Productions, Inc. and founder of Pack Rat Foundation For Education, Inc., a 501 (c)(3) committed to increasing the visibility of Historically Black Colleges and Universities. She is 23rd International President of Zeta Phi Beta, the only full-time entertainer to ever hold the sorority’s highest post) while also serving as Chair of the National Executive Board of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.

Sheryl’s inspiring life story was featured in PEOPLE Magazine and was the subject of the TVOne bio-documentary UNSUNG Hollywood: Sheryl Underwood. She was inducted into the Arkansas Black Hall of Fame in October of 2007, recognizing her national and international achievement in entertainment and media.
